Millions of people across the UK took to their streets and communities to be part of history over the Coronation weekend. We hope you had a fantastic time, filled with friendship, food and fun!
Visitors at our Big Lunch HQ, the Eden Project in Cornwall, enjoyed a giant Coronation Quiche as part of our special weekend programme.
Community celebrations took place as far north as the Shetland Isles in Scotland and included a cream tea extravaganza at Bude Sea Pool, Cornwall, a care home throwing its doors open to the whole community in Bridgend, Wales, and a flotilla at Enniskillen Castle in Northern Ireland.
Morecambe, Lancashire saw the longest Coronation Big Lunch street party, where thousands came together along the seafront. This was one of the many Big Lunch events captured in the BBC’s 90 minute Coronation special!
Take a look at our film for a little taste of what happened over the historic weekend - and keep sharing your photos and stories, we love seeing them.
