| | When it’s dark and chilly outside it’s lovely to have something in the diary to look forward to and we’ve got just the thing for you!
You may have seen in the news a couple of weeks ago that we launched The Big Jubilee Lunch, as part of the official celebrations for Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend, 2-5 June. The lovely Gyles Brandreth got excited about it on the One Show and we’ve been inundated with requests for our Big Lunch and Big Jubilee Lunch packs, so it looks like people want to party!
Alongside The Big Jubilee Lunch on the Jubilee weekend, The Big Lunch will once again kick start a whole Month of Community, so there are more reasons than ever to get together, whenever works for you and your community.

| | On 2nd June 2022, join in with the lighting of more than 1,500 beacons within your local communities in recognition of The Queen’s incredible 70-year reign. The lighting of the Beacons and associated activities are the first community wide event of the official Platinum Jubilee Weekend, enabling local communities, individuals and organisations to pay tribute to Her Majesty and to celebrate together.
