| |  | The sun is shining and spring has brought hope of better times ahead for many of us. The last newsletter saw the launch of The Big Lunch campaign, and we've been bowled over by the huge response, with our starter packs in high demand.
It seems so many of us are up for getting to know our neighbours a little better, or celebrating the community connections borne of - or strengthened through - the shared experiences of the last year. But if you need more of a reason to get involved, we're super excited to announce that we've teamed up with good causes across the UK to celebrate summer 2021 with a whole Month of Community!
The Month of Community starts with The Big Lunch from 5 June, and supports a number of charitable events throughout the summer. Join in whenever works for you and your community, to say 'cheers' to volunteers, connect with your neighbours, or simply say 'thank you'.
So pick your own big date to celebrate, sign up for a free pack, and join in with a Big Lunch this summer!

Here are our top tips for getting together safely. | | There are plenty of ways to have fun at our Big Lunches, even if we have to keep our distance. Try our Hunter Gatherer game to get people feeling energised, excited and a little competitive. Pick up a long rope for some socially distanced skipping, or some washing line limbo! Or rely on the old favourites with musical statues, Simon Says and hopscotch.
