The Big Knock for The Big Lunch!

With under three weeks until the Coronation Big Lunch, we’re delighted to have one of the UK’s best loved celebrity TV Chefs, Ainsley Harriott (MBE), helping us get people excited about the celebrations!
Our long-standing ambassador joined event organisers in London to get the Coronation party started by knocking on doors, handing out invitations and encouraging more people to join the festivities on 6-8 May.
Ainsley, of Ready, Steady, Cook! fame shared these wise words:
“You might feel nervous about knocking on doors, but take the plunge and we're sure you’ll be met by welcoming faces. Celebrations are just weeks away, so now’s the time to get the ball rolling!’

| | In recognition of The King and The Queen Consort’s concern for the environment, we’re calling on children UK-wide to make ‘Wild Crowns’ from natural materials for the big day! Prizes include a commemorative Coronation Big Lunch badge and a £50 food voucher. Enter by 26 April.

Easily adapted to different tastes, the Coronation Quiche, including spinach and broad beans, launched the One Show’s food contest to find the UK's favourite Coronation Dish. Vote by midnight, 1 May!
