| | With just under six weeks to go until The Big Lunch and The Big Jubilee Lunch, now is a great time to start planning the finer details. But if you’re only just getting started, don’t panic! We’ve got lots of practical advice, ideas and inspiration to help, including five simple ways to get involved without spending a penny.

| | A whopping £7.4 million was raised for charities and local causes at Big Lunches last year. If you want to fundraise for a good cause, we’ve got plenty of fun activities including apple-bobbing, Bake-Offs and Bingo. So, get creative and raise funds as well as spirits at your Big Lunch this year!

| | White Chocolate and Raspberry Brioche Pudding
| | If you fancy a sweet treat, this take on bread and butter pudding by Alex Hollywood is super simple to make and take to your Big Lunch. Made with brioche instead of bread, and chocolate and raspberries in place of raisins, it’s a little more summery than the traditional recipe, and absolutely delicious.
| | From now until The Big Jubilee Lunch, the wonderful WI are inviting keen knitters to join a special crafting competition. Knit and hide a ‘WInnie’ corgi – or look out for them in your community from 1 May! The first corgi’s are hiding at the Eden Project and one golden corgi will be hidden somewhere in the UK. Find that, and you’ll bag a very special Royal-themed prize!
