| | Create your own Eden wherever you are... | | Resources to help you and your students grow
| | The Eden Education team members are missing our visiting schools, teachers and children, but while our Biomes and gardens are temporarily closed, we plan to stay open in other ways – across our website, email and social channels.
At a time when many are learning at home, we're offering lots of free online resources for your students and your own families to tackle from home. Our activities and ideas are inspired by nature, and provide indoor and outdoor screen-free fun!
| | How to build your own den | | Stay at home den-designers won't need much to build their very own hideaway at home – and part of the fun is seeing what materials they can find around the house! Dens can be as simple or as complicated as you like, and are great for either the house or the garden.
| | This activity is brilliant for children aged 3-7, but can be adapted for 2-year-olds too. It's a great way to encourage imaginative play, and helps develop creativity, problem solving and critical thinking.
| | Dig into plant-focused resources
| | We’ve got online profiles of more than 70 plants growing at Eden. For each plant you can discover cool stuff about its uses, read a brief scientific description and browse beautiful, detailed photos. Why not ask your students to pick a plant that they’ve used in their daily life today and conduct their own research?
| | Tell us what you'd like to hear about... | | Give us a steer on what would help you most in the way of stay at home resources, and we’ll aim to bring you more of what you want...
